Heineken is my beer of choice but I usually keep my fridge stocked with Miller Lite, Heineken is just to exspensive to give away ;D ;D ;D

14 casting 1 spinning

I just completed building my new Jerkbait Rod. Its a St Croix 5C66MHF blank cut down to 6'3". Graphite Handle, Pac Bay Split reel seat, AmTak Titan guides, Fuji Titanium Tip, Spiral Wrapped. Nothing to special, stealth wrapped guides with gold trim. I am not into the real "flashy" side, I tend to build everything stealth. Here is a couple pics:

Thanks for the input guys, I picked one up this morning. I got the EDGE 55 bow mount, 45" shaft. I am going to be putting this on a 1448 Jon Boat. Found it onsale at a local shop for $490 out the door couldnt pass it up.

Anyone here using the Minnkota EDGE trolling motors? The 55#? I need to replace mine, and have been thinking of this one, my only concern is the 55# in a 12volt might not be to good for battery time. Anyone with any experience with these? Thoughts?
