  1. Walmart Everstart Maxx Marine. Have had 2 of them for the last 2 years and couldnt be happier.
  2. Lowe 1448 Jon, 9.9 Johnson, 55lbs Minkota trolling motor. It isnt much, but it works for me. For some reason I always liked a small boat over the bigger ones.
  3. Pline CXX, Izorline XXX, Sunline Shooter

  18. RW, I just pulled out my micrometer, its my old back up for work and is fairly accurate, but not nearly as accurate as my one I have at work. #10 - 0.012 #12 - 0.0135 #20 - 0.0175 My #15 is in the boat, if you need that, I can go dig it out.
  19. Flechero, Bantom1 pretty much nailed what I was going to say. Its been a long time since I used anything but PLine CXXX, and this line is definetly on par with it, doesnt kink as much and a lot more managable for me. Roadwarrior, Thats a great price on the filler spools, but if your looking for more yards per spool, here is where I get mine from. 1/4lbs spools are the same price as the filler spools at Delo's. http://www.acidrod.com/line.html
  20. Flechero, I used Izorline XXX pretty much all summer long and really like the stuff. I have bulk spools of #10, #12, #20 and I think #15 (its in the boat so I cant check now). If you want a filler spool of any of those to try out, shoot me a PM with your address and how much you want and I will get it out to you ASAP.
  21. I done 6 years in the Marines so my opinion is biased on what I would pick ;D But having said that, if GI Bill/money for college is of major concern, then definitly rule out the Marines. They have the worst of any branch. Back in the late 80's early 90's when I was in I think you paid in 1200 bucks to the GI Bill and got back 12,000. The Army was getting way more than this.
  22. Thanks Gator. Going to take me awhile to absorb all that, but thanks again for that report and link. I am sure its not as hard as it seems. Just looks bad on paper ;D
  23. Thanks Wayne P.. So basically all you need to do is get one of those wire splice connectors and put one on the "hot" lead to the back up light and the other to the "ground lead" and it will be good to go when the truck is in reverse only? This is something I been contimplating doing for a long time, but have never found anyone with the knowledge of weather it would work or not. Wiring isnt one of my specialties but this doesnt seem that hard ;D
  24. i was thinking the same thing Wayne P.. I was thinking of using white colored fog lights or those "ice blue" driving lights. Just could never figure out how to wire them up.
