  1. I just joined a club this year we fish alot of the lakes in northern indiana. I am very happy with the club. The guys are all good fishermen and help you out with whatever they can. We are out of adams co. If u are intersed let me know amd i can tell u more.
  2. Going up north next weekend and need some help with lure choices. I have been in kind of a rut useing sencos all year and not getting the size of fish to do great at the weight-in. I have been fishing between 3 and 10 feet of water. Any help would realy be nice. Thanks
  3. sorry That was a missprint. I live in northeast indiana and I cought the fish in ohio at a privite pond. I live near fort wayne does anyone know where I could find any round here? that would be awsome! thanks
  4. last year it was all about frogs for me (s-pro & horney toad). this year the jigs (with gene larew craws4 and 6in salt craws)have been my go to bait for the big ones.
  5. yea that will be a fish I never forget! if you don't know if a pond has smallies would a football jig be the best thing to use to try to find them? is there a better bait?
  6. I caught my first one over the weekend and tryed the rest of the day for more but didn't even have a bite. I'm a largemouth man myself but feeling the power of that smallie really got my heart pumping. I was fishing in a small pond in northeast ohio. it don't have much to offer for cover a few weeds and a rock pile here and there. caught the one on some scattered rock. I thought that was the thing to be doing but had no luck the rest or the day. I was useing a 1/2 oz jig with a blue n black craw. never fished for them before and want some help learning what works best for you. thanks Luke

I have been looking for glue for my soft plastics. I read about mend it and u guys have said its the best thing. where would I pick some of that stuff up.i went to gander mtn. over the weekend and they said they never heard of it.
  8. today was also the first time I have used a tube.i was useing a 3/0 EGW with one of those water grimlen weights with the loop on top I shoved the weight all the way to the top and inserted the hook throught the head of the tube and throught the loop. riged it weedless. I was skipcasting it down the edge of the weed line letting it fall then darting it. they hit it most of the time on the fall! hope that helps.
  9. I have been painting mime for about 2 years now. I have better luck with painted ones. I use blue, maroon, and moss green. I spray them with 99¢ paint from wal mart after that dries I put a coat of 2 part epoxy use a brush that u can throw away when you are done. sometimes I put glitter in with the epoxy to match whatever bait I'm useing. that has been working for me. u should try that.
  10. I just finished lunch. heading back out to try to catch some bass. no luck yet. what is the best bait (lure) to throw in wind. its a constent 15 gusting to 20 or more. need some help to try to salvage the rest of the day. help!

  12. I'm wondering if line lube(dressing) is something I should use. I have heard it helps u cast longer and helps keep your line twisting as much. if u can tell me anything about it and if it is a good investment. what brand do u use?
  13. what is the best time for wide wobble or the tight wobble. is there any best time for them.
  14. I have recently bought some firetiger baits and wondering when to use them. in stained water, clear water, cloudy,or sunny when?
  15. the last two days were awsome in NE Indiana. yesterday the zoom fluke was the bait for me. got two good ones. today was the day of the spinner. I tryed the strike king with the perfect skirt.this was the first time I used one of these. let me tell you its the only spinner bait I'm useing from now on. got nine on that today. sweet! can't wait to get back out. what kind of baits are working for you in indiana?
