Haven't been having a really good time lately, been doing poorly in school, not where I wanna be in sports, having family problems etc etc.. But when I fish that all exits my mind, its like I'm in my own world, not thinking about my next test or the fight I got into with my freind. Went out today and didn't get a nibble but I enjoyed it, been bank fishing more lately because its so peaceful... Lately it feels like I'm just going with the day to day motions but fishing helps get things off your mind so much!

It does the same for me aswell. Escape from reality.

It's a shame so many people can't seem to find a healthy way to relax and unwind.  Fishing is a great way to maintain your mental health!

Same fishing as an escape from schoolwork for me. Its a better escape then smoking weed, which many kids at my school do, sadly

Many of the actual Blues legends reference fishing or just straight up write songs about it. So there is something about fishing and the Blues that is connected. And bank fishing is all I do and It is extremely peaceful. Love that pic btw. Looks like an awesome fishing spot

Yeah its a lake near my house on moody air force base, its got a lot of open shoreline so its great for bank fishing!
