First Buzzbait Fish!

Hey guys,

Caught my first fish on my first buzzbait today. Got it in the mail this afternoon and took it down to the pond.

The explosion wasn't too epic, but it was fun. I have a new favorite.

Lol...and the downward spiral begins!

Pretty soon you have buzzers, frogs, sammies and wakebaits on deck...all at the same time lolol

d**n i love me a topwater bite!

What till you have one that sounds like dropping a brick in the water!

I Love the buzzbait, it ruined my life. I remember the first time fishing one, thinking theres no way in heck that a bass would eat this thing. Then it happened and my obsession with bass began!

Gotta love a buzzbait bite! You should try buzzing a weightless lure like a rage or speed craw across the water, it works great!

Congrats!  I hope to get my first one soon!  I feel the same way though... like nothing will ever bite this thing lol

Awesome! Congrats on the catch!

I only just started using buzzbaits.  So far I have caught 3 bass on them.  The first one I caught was just after the cast.  The other two was at a time when they would only strike when the bait was just under the surface running almost like a spinnerbait.  Given this I didn't get the epic top water smash that everyone talks about, but it was still fun to catch something on a bait that looks so strange.  Now I am trying to catch my first on a spinnerbait and one of the small umbrella rigs (3 baits).  Keeping my fingers crossed that tomorrow is the day.
