Suggestions For To Johnny Morris Carbonlite Rods

Featured Replies

Next week I'll get two Carbonlite rods at BPS….one is a dedicated worm rod in 7 foot and one will be a 7'6" rod for my heaviest pitching and flipping and I get into some thick mats where i fish.  Who has these rods and can suggest what stiffness I should get for each one?  I think MH for the 7 footer and Heavy for the 7'6"…any input or suggestions?

I think you have the right idea. One thing about the 7'6" carbonlites is the butt section is extremely long, so long that I took back my 7'6" MH last year because it just wasn't comfortable. Just personal preference for me but something to keep in mind if that bothers you.

Sounds good based on your planned usage of each.

I'm planning on picking up either an M or MH next

week as well, but 6'6" probably the longest for me.

Hoping they have some of the new white models in

stock so I can compare.
