Need A Little Help

Featured Replies

What are the best lures to use @ Tarpon that can get through the grass? Have tried every weedless trick I know and am getting quite frustrated. I mainly fish for bass. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Never fished tarpon lake in Florida if that's what your talking about, but there are TONS of stuff you could use in grass. Maybe try buzzing a soft plastic like a rage craw across the water weightless like a buzz bait!

Fishing from the bank? Sounds like it, what rigs are you using the most? Divulge a bit more info to get a bit more exacting feedback...

More info is needed. I don't have a boat so I don't fish Lake Tarpon but I have fished from the little dock by John Chestnut Park. The weeds are thick around the perimeter that's for sure. Every report that I have seen about Lake Tarpon is people have success offshore using soft plastics. I have also heard that Drop Shot works good there and crankbaits in the winter time.
