This months B.A.S.S. Times has a good article on 2 western bass tournament anglers that introduced flipping to tournament anglers back in the mid 70's. The article doesn't mention the fact that Dee didn't own a tournament style bass boat, he fished from a old aluminum boat and dominated tournaments he fished, including the few national eastern B.A.S.S. events he fished.Dave Gliebe was Dee's early partner out west and also won B.A.S.S. events. Good article.
