Tournament Ambassador

Featured Replies

How does one go abouts becoming one? I might be calling them the wrong thing, but I am referring to the people who ride on the boats with anglers in tournaments to make sure the rules are followed, no cheating, ect...

Sort of, a friend of mine was one a long time ago and he called in an Ambassador which is what confused me. Also, i am primarily referring to smaller tournaments, I don't expect to be selected for a Mashall on a Bassmaster tourney lol

You pretty much just have to be a qualifying member, and pay the fee.  A few of my friends have done it.

Smaller tournaments are usually boater/non boater draw format.

Right. I have never done it before but I signed up to be a marshal for the Bassmaster Elite event at the St. Lawrence River - Waddington, NY in July 2015. It was pretty easy and I think it cost $125.

Go to Bassmaster and become a Marshall in there boats. It costs $100 for 2-3 days. Which is a great experience to learn from the best anglers in the world
