Anybody from SC, how has your fishing been?

It has been pretty good. I have found several small farm ponds that have produced big fish. Also i have been fishing the ledges at lake marion and it has been working. probably for the next couple of weeks im gonna go after the crappie and let the bass rest.

Lake Hartwell has been successful. I am a big striper fishermen so i have been catching lots of stripers. If any of yall are from around or fish Lake Murray could you give some tips for Lake Murray in May. I have the State Championship there this year. I have only fished Lake Hartwell all my life and sometimes Keowee. Any similarties or diffferences you could share?

No problem are you fishing the high school tourny?

I slap  couldn't quit using a buzz bait this year.  I caught my PB at my local state park lake on a buzz bait (8 pounds) on a zebco 33.  That lake is very hard to figure out but if you do you can catch some monsters.

Mines been great this year, I want to go back to a lake I fished a couple of yrs ago north west of Aiken. It connect with Ga and is huge, my buddy lives in Aiken and took me there and I loved it. Caught my first stripper there and it was pretty empty when we went. I haven't fished the 2 major lakes here yet but Lake Marion is the closest to me so that one is on my to do list.

That's gotta be clarks hill.  Definatly a great place to fish for anything.  Marion is dangerous but good fishing watch out for stumps

Yall are so lucky my school never would have let a fishing team get started. They wouldn't even buy lumber for my carpentry class.

Mine isn't just 1 school but 3 represented in one team. You could try and make one with some interest.

Its to late for that now been out of school for 5 years. But I will keep it in mind if I ever have a child.  Defiantly something that's good to have.

Man that sucks. You try getting into something like an adult club.

Yea there is a local club and its one of those clubs a bunch of rich guys get together with their fancy equipment to show off who's the best.  Ive gone to them multiple times and every time they blow me off.  I go to them with kindness and willing to give the money they want but I guess they only want people they know evolved.  Like on here its a community of people who love to fish and want to share a passion with one another.  Im going to start a club one day for everyone the poor and the rich and young kids to get together and learn.  But for now I don't have time.  Is there a bass resource club?

Went out today at a local pond and got skunked. I was using bigger baits, I think Finesse is gonna be the new way to catch em.

I went to a small pond today also. Got 2 small hits that was it I went through my whole tackle box. I think it was the pond it was super low. The bites I got was Texas rig zoom trick worm
