Both are half off at Cableas around $50-60.  Using it with a casting reel.....nice shiny Curado I   Which one should I pair this with???

I'm trying to find where you see the casting model of Veritas for $50 on Cabelas.  I'm only seeing the spinning.

my friend has the old veritas and its a decent rod for the money half off its an amazing deal.

The DSG in my area had several Veritas 7' MH Micros for $49.95 today. Had a $10.00 coupon so I couldn't pass it up for $40!

The Silverhawk is a Cabelas exclusive, it is a 30 ton graphite and I'm guessing it is probably the same or similar to the Vendetta blank but it has Alconite guides with really good build quality but not many models to choose from. I think if there is a Veritas in a model you like then that is what you go with but the Silverhawk seems to be a decent rod so you will make out no matter which you choose.
