snagged in the creek today and gave it a jerk

Now the anti reverse is slipping

Sometimes it'll lock up sometimes it'll spin a few then catch

Any insight into this issue so I know if I should break the case ?

talked to quantum, and they offered to fix it, 

with a receipt showing less than 1 year of ownership, I however, Do not have said receipt!

Send it in anyway.  Not unusual for some of these companies to either fix or replace a reel for free, even after warranty.  Quantum has done it for me as well as other manufacturers, I know I'm not the only one.
