Two reels on sale at Academy by Lew's...both at $69 from $119 but I can't find their model codes on any other website (TLZ1H and TLZ1SH)...are they just models made for Academy?  They are called the Tournament Speed Spool and Tournament Laser MG Speed Spool.

I'm curious to see the responses, as I've seen these Tournament Laser MG reels there for a while now. Seems to me they are exclusive to academy as I haven't seen them anywhere else.

Tournament Laser MG is an Academy exclusive. Tournament Speed Spool is not.

I have the tournament lazer mg. I'm really not fond of it. It feels cheap in your hands. 

How does the Tournament Speed Spool rate and how does it compare to the BPS Extreme or BPS Pro Qualifier.  Is this TLZ1H Trnmt Speed Spool an older model and that is why I can't find it on Lew's website?

they are discontinuing the old tournament after this year. That is why it is on sale/not on their website. The tournament laser and other laser are their value series they are graphite. That is why they feel cheap. You are better of buying an original speed spool over a laser ir carbon fiemre series reel.
