Upgraded smallie crank

Featured Replies

After the last post of the smallie crankbaits I have changed to a hand poured soft plastic tail and a wider lip, now it works like I was hoping for. Action is great and the tail is easily replacable should it become torn or damaged. The problem now is it takes about as much time to make the tail as it does the bait, seems plastics and me do not get along well.

John, that baits looks to cool for words.  That is a work of art.  I also like the little fins next to the gill slit.

Now that's a work of craftsmanship John.   Awesome job!

Plastics and me are also like oil and water.

It looks so good I think I will eat it.

Now for the big test.

Will it catch anything on One Fish Anna?
