I bought one of these reels on a real good deal from someone. Then only thing wrong with it is that the button has a discolored mark from pressing down on it to cast. Is there anyone to make this look a little better? Thanks

    You can get an aftermarket thumbar from hedgehog studios or just get a replacement from Abu?

    Why bother? It'll just happen again.

    I love my Revos but they do end up with minor cosmetic blemishes easier than other brands. Doesn't Impact performance though.

    When I had a Gen 3 STX, the thumbar did get discolored a bit. Not a big deal, I think it adds a character to the reel. LOL.... It's good reel, I got rid of it for reasons of my own. However it stayed close to home. I gifted it for Xmas to my BIL and he fell in love with it.
