Help With Dobyns Champ Model.

Featured Replies

Hi to all!

I'm looking for the champion series for use with ikas, flukes, texas rig, 3/8 football jigs, spinnerbaits and big walking baits... then, that model would be best for these lures?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like two rods (733 and 734).  If you only want one rod then probably go with the 734.

734c will fit the bill for what your asking...

734 baby. It's why I have two of them. Your only issue may be from weightless flukes accurately as it won't load the Rod fully. Other than that you should be gravy

I'll say the 734 like my friends above. But if you throw weightless flukes a majority of the time, then you'll probably want to downsize to the 733.

734c...  More interested in what the rod is going to do with a fish on than casting or working a lure.  734c is a great rod and as versatile as they come!
