Smithwicks Devil Horse

Featured Replies

I have 2 old devilhorses my dad gave me a while back that he bought back in the early eighties. I love these things. But they are pretty beat up and don't seem to run the same. Are the ones sold on tackleware house as good as the old ones. Or are they cheap knock offs. IF not what are some pod replacements for these things

I haven't had any issues with the new one. I throw them a good bit and have caught some flat out Toads on them with no issues. I like them enough that I have an empty beer box full of them in my fish'n room. Brian.

I don't have a problem with them either. I have a big obnoxious yellow one.. Need to order some more. I really like all of the Smithwick stuff. The new Perfect 10 Rogues are really nice, and come in some pretty cool colors (even holographic finishes :respect-059: )

The old ones worth anything?

Idk about money wise but they still catch fish like all get out so I'd say yeah, I don't think there is a better topwater bait

Hmm... I'll have to give them a shot. Got about a dozen of them. 3 new still...
