Cs Coating Vs Spike It Lure Dye

Featured Replies

I know the first thing everyone will mention is that the spike it has scent added. I dont mind the garlic scent from the Spike it, but i am kinda worried about the straight alcohol smell from the CS Coating. I am just wondering who has had experience with the CS Coating and if the smell has made a difference. I found a place with every color you can think of in big bottles for 3 bucks. I would love to stock up and have all the colors im just worried that alcohol smell would deter the fish from the bait. Thanks in advance.

Note. I do try to use B.A.N.G. scent on my slow moving baits but dont really use any on the moving baits...mainly swimjigs.

None of the above JJ's Magic is where it's at.

I use spike it unscented in blue. I only use dye on Jewel Eakins craw when I'm fishing a finesse jig. Buy green pumpkin craw, dip the claws, catch more fish. Plain and simple! ;)
