Maybe some swim bait that was of the appropriate size. I believe that the Sebile soft magic swimmers are sized for a 5/0 hook

They usually come w/a hook and weight system though. Those would be a good option for the use of those though.

Rage rig??

yeah you rig the back and front separately. It seems to make them last longer.

Sorry, I should've clarified... What is a rage rig?

Keel weighted hook like one of those some prefer the ones with springs. But all you do is add a rage bait I only use the lobster and craw for it though. Give it a try in shallow or clear water it's vastly overlooked and underrated.

It would also make the bait fall belly down which is pretty interesting.

I would be mind full of the no lead lures allowed and when the laws take effect In  Maine. I admit to being a little confused my self about that. But my thinking is that there is no point in buying leaded lures including hooks, weights and jigs  presently if there are outlawed within the next couple years. Why take the chance on a violation ?  I am looking for no lead alternate replacements my self.

But to answer your question swim baits and rage type baits should work well on the weighted hooks.

I have steel and other non lead weights but I got these hooks for a steal, as far as the rules go when they're in effect I'll follow them.
