New Marshal Requirements

Featured Replies

I am signed up to marshal for the Elite event on Lake Havasu in May.  Based on the way the tournament season has started, it appears I will need to carry mace & a set of handcuffs in order to fulfill my duties.

Any ideas on other changes I should expect as a marshal?

Oh man... Wear a PFD in case you get pushed in the drink!

If the pro I am with gets in a fight with another Elite angler, does that mean I have I have to fight the other marshal?  Or is it a tag team event, where only 2 participants are (supposed to be) fighting at the same time?

I am much better at being in the corner, yelling insults and then whacking my pro's opponent in the back with a Flippin' stick when no one is looking.  Just call me Jimmy "Mouth of the South(ern California)" Hart.  I will supply my own bullhorn...

It's hunger games style!

Don't worry, there will be enough other drunk and disorderly people at Havasu, so you may have to fight them off first.

If they want me to wear a shirt that says "Security" on it, I might have to rethink this...
