Do u like them or change them

    i don't have a Bb-1 but i do have a couple other lews reels and it all depends, if i get the reel and its smooth ill use it without touching anything but if it starts making some noise or anything ill try putting some oil on the bearings but I've had all my lews for 2 years and have yet to change the bearings,  there great reels

    They are fine. For max performance remove and flush them. Oil lightly and reinstall

     

    Exactly my opinion and what I do to them. The bearings are just fine, but if you absolutely feel the need they can be replace with Boccas. Just don't see the point in doing so.
