Phenix Maxim Spinning Rods

Featured Replies

I'm looking at replacing my *** 13 that i gave to my daughter this year since she caught her biggest bass on it, and have been looking around for another $100.00 or so spinning rod and the Phenix Maxim has cought my eye, there really isnt any reviews out there I could find.

Has any one played with one by chance? I'll have to order online since there is no dealers here in Colorado.

Thanks

Rich

I haven't tried the maxim series, or heard any reviews yet. Looks kinda ugly IMHO. I like my M1 spinning though..

I'm going to buy one or 2 in March.

Hey Fisherrw

thanks for the info I have been loking at the M1s also but since I fish pond fish out of a tube and only take 3 rods with me and only use a spinning rod about 20% of the time im kinda having a hard time spending the extra $$, but it's not out of the question as of yet.

when I fished turneys back in the late 80's in LV i had a couple of Phenix rods & liked them alot and i still have a old Phenix I bought as a flipping stick, that just kinda sits aound now execpt for slamming pike

Go with the maxium then.
