Tried googleing it, cant find my answer. Is the HB Helix compatible with the HDSI transducer (XHS 9 HDSI 180 T)?

You didn't look in the right places. It has been widely discussed on several forums.

It is compatable with the SI and 2D models.

It has a 83/200 kHz 2D crystal that those models use.

It has two SI crystals that the SI model uses.

It won't add any capability that the unit doesn't have.

What it will do is improve the image sharpness of the SI model.

That is because the SI crystals are longer than the standard Compact SI transducer. The longer SI crystals producer a thinner SI pulse and the thinner pulses produce sharper images.
