New To Beaufort/pitt County Nc.

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I took a teaching job (finally, after 3 years if looking) in Washington NC in 3 weeks notice. Leaving all family and friends back in NY and will be living in Greenville NC as of Feb. 3rd.

Was just wondering if there was anyone in this area who could name some of the local places someone can shore fish from or is willing to meet up. I'm looking to lay down some roots in the area and have already contacted the Pitt county bassmasters.

Thanks guys!

Congrats on the jo. What lakes are around there not real sue about that area

There are several lakes along the highways of Greenville .. Some have very big bass in them and most are rarely fished ... I only know of around Wilson county fishing thoufh but I have fished some of the Greenville lakes and seen decent bass and monster crappie but I was only fishing for crappie and catching 2.5lbrs in between
