With the current sales going on and me with some broken rods due to accident . tired of my micro Magic’s and looking to upgrade . 250 is my limit . Been looking at champion xp’s. But whats out there that’s better the rod rod will be used primarily to throw rover 128’s and whopper plopper 110s. And poppers . Some light duty senko work. 7ft medium action micro magic was able to handle all of this but had bad experience too many times with them . So whats out there ?

I'd say the bass fishing in most places in n.c. Would be better quality wise and close to those number under the right conditions . You can also fish 365 in nc ... And much better variety of saltwater species at your disposal as well to dabble in if interested

i use them for whatever I'm more skilled with i.e. Bait casting for pitching and spinning for skipping ... I've started using spinning and lighT braid for a lot of my lighter crankbaiting and having great results

I've never seen that on a lake I've only seen that on rivers .... On any lake or pond they're too curious not too ... Interesting though

Ci4+ and it isn't even close there's nothing like it for 220 out there my excense ci4 + 3000hgm is Much more money and actually smoother but I still end up fishing the Stradic more .

Which curado ? Line conditioners or reel magic really help me with sunline . I only use it for flipping wood and light grass now though anyways . Also what baits Are you throwing this lb test line on ? Your Rod also may be a factor . I've never fished #14 sunline but I'm very familiar with 16 .

I fish my Metanium xg to do those exact things ..get the 8:1 fishing all those techniques described are easier to me with it .

Nice man ... I actually had 19.3 on my first tournament . Finished 3rd with big fish and it hooked me .. That was about two years and a shimano metanium addiction ago ? Sidenote what were they eatin if you will ???

Can someone send me the best price they can find online for a Calais or a Antares on hg .... The thing is I really wanted an 8.5 ratio ... I've been slowly trying it out and jumping on the Aaron martens bandwagon. I may soon use a 7.0 for my slow cranking :). So at a better price point and the ratio I want the Metanium 15 dc is appealing. If the Calais would be the better over all choice (it's also a 200sz ree as far as I can see) I will get what's best for me over the issue of the money . Just will take a little longer to get as now I'm getting an ocea jigger 3000pg for a yankee Capts trip in July and I haven't had my mgl for 5 days yet I don't like how the new anteras looks either .. I'd have to hear great things about it like I have the other two reels

I'm going to either get a anteras dc7 or the 15 metanium dc , the 380 vs 750 where I can find is making this deal hard to even out however.

I recommend these baits to start out with ... Also always start out using floating swimbaits ... 1. Black dog baits shell cracker g2 2. Spro bbz-1 6in in sexy shad color 3. Huddleston 68 special those baits can be thrown anywhere and catch the biggest fish in the lake pond canals whatever you like . The spro would be a little easier to get right now as the swimbaits craze has a lot of companies with high demand and smaller supply .. the he mattlures baits pictures do work extremely well ... If could have only one swimbait it would probably be the shellcracker as even on lakes where bass eat lots of shad they still eat gills ... And hate gills as well

Saltwater or fresh if you can't catch it on some form of a jig I don't want to catch it

Cause I felt like my rod was disrespected I caught an # 7.9 on same topwater . First five fish from this reel has a bag Of 18-19 lbs Im from Miami .. We are petty like that
