If I were you I'd get one while I could tbh. There's a slim chance it's not better .. I'd get another but I need a ocea jigger for a dry tortugas trip in July and I'm sending some reels to IAN so I'm not allowed to buy anymore Reels per my wife . (Recenty married sigh) .

I have Owened all the reels mentioned and if say imo that the scorpions were just a smudge smoother in each generation . For the price it's hard to beat a scorpion 200 to me ...

I've found it for as cheap as 330 shipped but I know who to go to to find cheap priced great reels in the Internet .. So here I am ... Who can beat that number pls ... Will make a review when it gets here

I'm going to spend a few months using copolymers only . Give it a true shot and see if I like it . I've been using yozuri hybrid and I enjoy it but I want to use the best and I'm not familiar with the brands in that category ... I'd like to pitch , fish topwaters , Texas rigs , and reaction Baits on this line . In the 12-17 lb category and memory/cast ability/Abraision resistance are major issues for me .

I fished two this year and have finished 3rd and first.. I usually win one club tournament a year in the spring or summer and one in winter . looking to change that a keep this golden state streak going

I catch way more and way bigger fish burning crankbaits .. Especially square bills ... I just cannot fish a reel that slow anymore ... Not even for swimbaits ... But the reason I sped up was because I heard Aaron and Tak and Brent all say they did it .

I know reels matter when doing more specific things like pitching ... Or for distance it helps ... But most thing I notice from more expensive reels is when a big fish is being caught. As far as rod I can't feel difference after 250.... They all feel good and just what feels extra good to me is what I go with ... But who knows ... I'm the guy who fishes metaniums on duckett rods ... Barely catch anything got anyways

Nice rod..:: change those books oils on that bait out immediately pls ... I've lost so many fish on stock slammer hooks .. Just seeing how this one swims and not expecting to get bit lol.
