Which Mann's did you get? I really like Mann's crankbaits, they aren't flashy or much to look at but the action gets the attention from the fish.  I use the Baby 1 Minus for the really shallow stuff and then the Baby X for just a little deeper 2' zone but with 8lb line I can get it to 2.5'. For this coming season look to find a discontinued lure, the Mann's Waker Elite, it is a big body wake bait that just gets hammered, there are still some around.

Yea the spros... Just picked up a cell mate and nasty shad and all ready catch a 4 pounder!! Strike kings have always been my go to squarbill even though there durability sucks.

that what i got the mans baby 1 minus i usually throw it on 10lb  line and always shallow from 1-4 feet

Nice man, I lovethose things they have a small bit of glitter that shines real bright as it wobbles. That's what I like best about them, especially the cell mate color.
