Any of you used this reel for swimbaits/A-Rigs? Looking at getting a low profile swimbait reel but don't want to spend too much. It seems like it would work well for the bigger baits but I just wanted some opinions from some of you that have used it. Thanks.

This reel is awesome for a cranking reel. I dont think there is a better cranking reel for 99 bucks IMO.

 

That being said. I dont think it work wells on HUGE swimbaits and umbrella rig type baits. I think launching a huge 3oz plus bait would burn this reel up. When I upgraded to the Revo Winch for my cranking rod I had my Orra Winch on my umbrella rig rod for a bit and ended up trading it to a buddy for a C3 6500 which was alot more stout throwing a heavy umbrella rig. That was my opinion of it. But for throwing 1 1/2OZ bait I think it would be fine for years. I loved my Orra I think its a better reel than the Revo S.

I had one and liked it a lot, sold just to free up some funds for other "projects". I'll be getting another one before too long.
