I have one Pro qualifer baitcast reel that does some funky stuff. Right out of the box, if i stop reeling suddenly it makes a loud clicking soud Maybe anti reverse? I love my PQs and dont want to get rid of it what can i do

I have one Pro qualifer baitcast reel that does some funky stuff. Right out of the box, if i stop reeling suddenly it makes a loud clicking soud Maybe anti reverse? I love my PQs and dont want to get rid of it what can i do

 

Sounds like the spool shaft pin is jumping out of the pinion.  I had a Bionic Plus that would do this.  Does the spool turn while making the clicking noise?

no think of it this way im reeling a cranbait fast and a fish graps it so i stop(the spool stops) and it makes this clicking winding sound sounds like the reel keeps going afer ive stopped

somehingss not right ive had it happen on cheap reel but not m PQ
