Featured Replies

What would you guys say is about average for bass clubs? I'm interested in joining but the only active and in my area club is 120 annually plus 40 per tournament.

The club I belong to is not a tournament club and the dues are $30 per year.

I paid dues in Boyscouts.. .25 cents a week..

Don't know about fishing clubs, I always paid to fish tournaments when I could or wanted. It may depend on your area, as well as the clubs cost of meeting/ operating cost.. I'm sure it varies.

Best Wishes!

Most around here are $50-90 yearly. Then again I know another one that has a $5 fee, but they only do 3 events a year.

$45 Annual Dues

No other charges other than $50 a day for nonboaters paid to the boater at tournaments

Optional Annual Big Fish Pot of $6

There are as many fee structures as there are clubs. I paid $200 +/- yr but that included club dues and entry for 8-10 tournaments. They have since changed to a separate dues/entry system because not everyone could make every tourney. It's well within reason to ask the club officers about costs and what the club's income covers.

Thank you DVT for your input I did ask and this was the response I got.

Our yearly dues are $120.00. $50 goes toward club. $40 goes to IL BASS and $30 to National BASS. Our tournaments are $50.00 for two day and $40 for one day. We also have a yearly big bass pot that is optional for $25

Now this is the only bass club within an hour drive from my house for a meeting place so I'm pretty much either going to join with them, or not join any tournament based bass club at all. (There meeting place is actually three minutes door to door from my work.)

$115. I think 90 0f that goes to flw. Then $20 per day of fishing

$80 for the year and each tournament is $25 but our classic is $100.
