Jackall Giron- Float?

Featured Replies

Hey yall. A few years ago I got some Jackall Giron Swimbaits from the Bass Pro outlet store for CHEAP!  They were not in the original packaging but They were like $3 or $4 instead of $20 so  I figured that I needed to pick those jokers up.  There were 3.  Anyway. 2 of the 3 I got float.  I looked at the differences between the float and sink and the sinking has 3 Ball Weights that create a Rattle in the bait.  They add a decent ammount of weight to the bait, that the others dont, which obviously allows the bait to sink instead of float. Everywhere I looked it says they are only sinking baits.  Did I get some defected baits? Did they make floating topwater girons before?  Anyone know anything about them?

PS. I havent really used them at all, but plan on throwing them a bit this year.  If they never did make it float, they should think about trying it. Looks a lot like a floating fish in my fish tank.  Im gonna try walking the dog with them this spring.
