im about to buy a fishfinder and both of these are on sale at dicks sporting goods one and is one better than the other

humminbird 561 di $149.99

garmin 151dv $139.99

Saving $10 is better than spending $10.

 

BUT the Humminbird has a larger display.

Pennix  out of those 2 I would go with the Garmin  but either one would  work well for you . One thing that might help yo make up your mind is  that on Garmins page  the  151DV is $ 139  im sure Dicks would price match it

Im not sure how soon you need the FF  but if you can id save up and get a color Display if you can  but if no either one of those would suit your need's

Budget is $150 so trying to fine a decent one for price I do like the 5inch hummingbird screen
