Snow Or Ice And The Effects On Fishing

Featured Replies

We had 70 degree weather 2 days ago and the fish was being caught in 12-15' range.

Temperature Dropped 42 degrees yesterday and we had 1/2" of ice/sleet last night. Today's high is 32 with a low of 17.

Saturday's high will be 55. I know the water temp will have dropped a degree or two.

How does snow or ice on the land effect bass movement? (With melt off or run off

Will they still be in same areas?

Water temperature will have dropped a lot! Thats a huge change! just slow Down, and fish deeper water.

You wll have a surface temperature change, 12-15' deep not so much.

Three days after a front things should start returning to normal.
