Surf And Turf [Almost]

Featured Replies

About an hour after dark,I was coming home from a successful fishing trip. I had a nice striper for dinner.

About 40 mph,I see a BAM.It happened that fast. A doe T boned my van . I envisioned a surf/turf dinner now.

I stopped ,got out with a flashlite and knife only to find a doe standing about 50 yds in a field. She ran away.

It pushed one of the side swing doors in about 2".I couldn`t believe the $1500 estimate to fix it.

I have been driving over 50 years and never made contact with any large animals before.

I have a friend that had a deer jump into his boat while traveling. It torn a seat off and roughed up some tackle.

Did you ever hit a deer.

I smoked a big doe two summers ago with my ranger doing 75mph on the highway. Had one hit me back when I was 19 had my moms car just broke up with my gf had been drinking a few hit the passenger side front door and bounced her head all down the side. Hit a fat raccoon last night though on my way to work.

I've had before. I was on my way to see my GO who is my wife now. I had a doe dart as soon my headlights hit her. I'm not sure if killed it or not but after I hit her I was like I better pull over and call 911. As soon as I pulled over I had a cop pull behind to see why I pulled off. I'm not sure if he actually seen my hit the deer or not but I filed the report with him. A week or so later on my way to Md leaving my house I got pulled over for being in emergency lane (left lane) and I left my id at home. The cop was like your the guy who hit that deer? I was like yeah and he told me to make sure I go back and get my id.

I hit one two weeks ago at 5am heading to a tournament. I got a good nights sleep, woke up on time, had all my stuff ready to go, and didn't forget a single thing, so something was bound to happen.
