I bought a calcutta 50 last year, and it's a fun reel to fish with, but haven't been able to find a great use for it yet due to the 16 ipt retrieve. I'm curious to hear what others that own this reel use it for.

    I have a couple JDM equivalents (50XT) and use them mostly for chatterbaits. They're also handy when cranking in REALLY cold water - sorta MAKES you slow down the presentation... :lol:

    I use mine for every thing but my favorite is slow rolling spinner baits.
