Color Changing Rod Blank

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I saw a blank in a small tackle store a couple weeks ago with a color changing finish on it (like a dark but changes as you change angles type) and it didn't have any information on attached to it other than a price. Anybody ever seen one of these and could point me towards it? Thought it would make a cool looking rod, but wanted to know what quality blank I would be getting.

The only one I know is St. Croix. The SCV blanks with the blue/green flip color. I have quite a few of these. They are my favorite blank.

Now that I think of it, he mentioned he builds his rods from St Croix blanks, that probably should've been where I started! Thanks for the help!
