Norman Scorpion

Featured Replies

Tried googling to see if any other topics on this, anyone use the lure?

I have a few, they swim great and put off a good vibration. They also rest standing up and dont fall over if I remember correctly. Havent caught anything on them yet so I can attest to how setting the hook on them are. But I will continue to fish them and report back when I do catch a bass on one.

I have been wondering about this lure myself...I love the Sebile Snagless Flatt Shadd and I liked the idea as I have messed around with a frog hook to try to create the same design but have not had success....I am curious to find out the hook up percentage and if it truly comes through weeds like the Sebile can.

I usually just cut off the two points on trebles with lipless cranks to avoid tangles in weeds and weeds themselves....I am interested since you mentioned they stand up without falling over, that has sparked some interest now....Would love to hear any results as well...Good question on a cool looking lure that should sell well as I plan on getting 1 on my next order.

I have in it apparition, doesnt break the bankto try it out at 6 bucks either off of TW. It is defined as a crankbait, the head of it is flatter and outshoots more then the body does. Looks legit as well. I planned on taking off the underbelly treble, splicing a bettle spin little spinning flash thing onto it for extra vibrations and flash.

If you want a good Norman crank, the Flat Broke, that will catch fish anywhere, the Jelly Bean color is all you need.
