Hey everyone. I have avoided the bait monkey for quite some time "broke college kid". I was looking at the new Icast stuff that came in for preorder on TW. Few things I noticed were the new molix supernato beetle, Berkley warpig lipless cranks, and the kitech noisey flapper. I was just curious as to what you all thought about these. I have a supernato frog from molix, never caught a thing on it. The kitech looks like an expensive version of a pitboss dragged across the topwater, and the warpig seems like a cheaper version of the megabass lipless. Opinions?

I dislike bass pro shops because they can't keep up with all the new things. TW indefinately, forever. Plus 15% military discount is nice

I have caught one fish on a worm. Thats about it. I bought the rage tail anaconda tailworms trying to change that. Black blue fleck, still nothing. Lipless crankbait has been where it is at the entire season.

They look interesting but there are plenty of better poppers out there for way less.

20 for a megabass trick dart 80. I catch a decent amount on it in the spring time. Not much use otherwise. Lots of pike as well. 15 for molix lures. Haven't caught jack with them. Unfortunate for sure.

I haven't caught anything with it. Im sure when something does hit it though, it's going to be huge. Always fish it at dawn or dusk, gill bone color.

But the design will remain the same? Tackle review needs to cut open and compare the old and the new.

I also was excited for the mega bass fermata. I feel like a lipless crank that could suspend but also be a crank is pretty neat

Is anyone concerned that the quality will not be there when booyah takes over xcalibur lures? I'm very scetchy with the idea. That popping pencil by duo realis looks nice.

That is definately something molix would make. I've seen them before. Not impressed by the company so far. Can't catch nothing with the supernato and the molix lover. Wastes of money so far

Everytime I pass by a dicks sporting goods I go in and scan the stuff to see if there are any of the good colors left. I doubt if booyah carries them they will be made with the same quality. Such a shame

So is xcalibur leaving? I've been grabbing every single rayburn red lipless I possibly can lol. I love the zpops too but those are even rarer.

I thought opposite. They have zero action on the fall. Just lifeless peices of plastic.

I'm not exactly too far north, but chicagoland srea of illinois. I think my strong points are in clear water lakes. But I have so many plastic crawfish and worms and I just can't seem to be able to use them well enough. All they do is stockpile in my trunk. I love using them, but I can't seem to get it going that well. I'm a huge fan of chatterbaits, and I love hard tackle. I want to be able to use more plastics, but is my area even good for them?
