I picked up a Batson SB843-3 blank a couple weeks ago and just got started on it. No particular need, I just wanted a travel rod that I can fly with, as a carry on. (I don't have any BC travel rods yet) Read that as just an excuse to build another rod!! (or several if this one fishes well) I have high expectations for this rod. ...lol

here is the dry fit grip and seat (not yet trimmed either)
