That squeal is just under-oiled bearings. I've had an accurist pt out of the box like that- I've also had a pinnacle, two daiwas, an Abu and a bps come like that. It happens.

When you buy things on super clearance, you have to know that there's a reason..... overstock normally. Your reel has probably been on a shelf in a hot stock room for 3 years.
