Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent inexpensive 2 piece baitcasting combo. I will be keeping it behind the seat of my truck with my spinning kit for fishing on the road, and mostly throwing jerkbaits, topwaters and jigs with it. I am looking to spend 75-100 dollars.

i picked up a field and stream inferno rod when i was on vacation the 7'MH i think there $30 but it wasn't a bad rod i know its a little less than your price, but for that much i would give it a try

I would really recommend an Abu Garcia Vengeance, excellent rods for 50 bucks. For a reel, the Abu Garcia Black Max reel should do you. I haven't personally used it but I know a lot of people say it's the best if you are really looking to go cheap. Probably won't be worse than what you would get with most combos in that price range.

TW has a 2 piece baitcaster. Abu for $50. Bought it for the Toledo Bend trip. Absolutely loved it!
