My Spook Just About Got It.. Twice.

Featured Replies

Just come back in from a quick outing with my woman after work. Sun was setting nicely, water was calm for the most part. Started seeing a school of some kind of fish boiling in the open water, so I threw the ol tried and true super spook Jr. past it and worked it through. A big ol girl literally come out of the water to get my offering. Looked massive, possibly even a new PB. I threw back out two times after that. On the second, same thing happened. I felt the weight of the fish on my line this time, but managed to get away again. Nada after that. My adrenaline was going crazy. I'll be thinking about that fish for a while!! That top water bite was a real tease as I still have a while before it gets real good and hot.

Aw,To bad I know the feeling.  :embarassed:
