First attemp at foil

Well here is where im at on my first attempt at foil think its looking pretty sweet so far. Just gotta add the lip and do a couple more things and ill be done. Will post another pic when its finished.

I would say that's pretty good for your 1st attempt or 100th attempt.

just curious, why do you add the lip after you have put the foil and epoxy on the bait?

very nice! but did you use 5 min epoxy to seal it? it looked like there was a tube in the pic of 5 min, if so you should probably put another layer of 2ton (30min) over it just to be safe

Well normally i dont add the lip after but didnt know what to do with the foil

Nope i used the 2 Ton to seal it just still had the 5 minute sitting out

Well here it is turned out really good pretty proud of this one. Now i really got the itch to make some more  ;D

ahh they'll get the job done ;) What kind of hooks you use???

they will do the job until you put them in your tacklebox when theyre wet and they rust to nothing!  ;)

i use gamakatsu's  :)

That's one pretty looking bait.  Let's hope the fish think so too!  ;)
