anyone ever use the cabelas beaver style bait? i bought a couple packs on sale when i took a trip up in january thinking it was a good deal but now when i look at them they look like poop lol

If you don't like them cut the side flaps off and cut the baits in half for a DS bait. I got the idea from in fish, and will admit to not fishing them yet, but they look really good, no reason they wouldn't work. Top 2 are SK rodents and the bottom was a bargain bin yum from a few years ago.

They use to make one called a Cabela's Bass Beaver, it was 3" and not bulky at all and it had the two claw appendages but instead of having the two small flappers, it had 2 long thin strands coming down the sides, 1 on each side. Anyway, they were the perfect trailer for a small 3/16oz - 1/4oz finesse jig, I caught a bunch of fish on those and I would have bought a bunch of bags had I known they were going to be discontinued.
