Abu Garcia Veritas Vs St. Croix Mojo

Featured Replies

Looking to buy another casting rod. Im going to be putting an Abu Gacria reel on it (Most likely a Revo). I already own 2 veritas casting rods but was told the Mojo is something to check out. Any opinions on either rods?

I have a st.croix mojo bass rods and I love them. Never have failed me. But thats me. Im sure others can give you better insight on this

And they have great service for warranties

I have two Mojo's that work really well for me,  they're a little stiff and not as sensitive as some others but feel really durable and as mentioned above, good warranties.

I have a couple Mojo rods, a pitching rod and a spinnerbait rod. Both have been great rods, maybe a bit stiff as mentioned above. But for what I we them for they do great...

Both are good rods and i don't think you will be disappointed with either one.

I have 4 veritas rods and 2 mojo. Out of the two, I prefer the veritas. The mojo's are nice, but quite heavy and stiff.

If go with the Veritas, the Mojo is to heavy for my taste and sensitivity isn't great. Veritas is pretty good bang for the buck

I've got two Mojo's and love them both. St. Croix power ratings seem to be a little on the low side compared to a lot of companies, so a medium power rod would fish closer to a medium heavy in other brands. I don't think you can go wrong either way, but if I were picking I'd go Mojo.
