So I was strolling through the 2015 guide and was a little shocked and sportier on the new catch and release opener.

Before if you wanted an earlier season you had to go up north. However May 9th - the 22nd is now opener for bass C&R only, and the 23rd is the normal opener.

I am stoked and looking forward to this 2 weeks more of bass fishing.

    I could'nt agree more. Here I was counting down the days until the 23rd. What a blessing. I think it should have happened long ago, and from what I've read, they could even open the season earlier without harming the population, but better late than never. Can't wait is an understatement.
