Recently I upgraded from a transom to a bow mount Minn Kota. I plan on putting an I Pilot on it but before doing so I have some questions. I play on putting a Humminbird SI/GPS G2. Do I need to have the G2N though to speak to the I Pilot to follow charter plots and what not, or will a G2 be sufficient? My understanding is the G2N is more for running multiple head units with I Pilot.

So I caught a great deal on a new Powerdrive bow mount, and I will be adding an i-Pilot to it. But it has me eyeing a new fish finder/GPS. I'm looking for insight on what you use, the ease of using it, and overall suggestions. I've been considering pairing it with a Helix5 GPS/DI sonar. I guess I should add, I'm not looking to add a extreme high-end unit. Just something that has a nice size display, and works well will a i-Pilot.

Had to order a new Plano box from TW. I have their 3700 box but I needed another. New box means you have to fill it do I bought 4 new Evil V's a 4x4 & a 4x6.. Can't wait. for opener

I'm looking at getting into making inline flashabou spinners. I've looked at lure parts, worths, and tw. But does anyone the best place to by large cheap hanks of flas, and just best all around prices?

So early this year (almost a year ago) I posted a question about reputable fishing charter services down in Florida. Due to some serious medical issues that came up I've been off the forums and focusing on other things. But I wanted to give everyone a big thank you, and follow up. In March I went for a two week vacation to Orlando. I ended going with a deep sea sports charter. We caught several yellow fin, and where going for Mahi. Unfortunately I never got the Mahi I was going for but I did catch a black tip shark. Best experience ever! I did end up going to the north east of Toho and bank fish. Caught a suburb and no fish. I'm hoping once what I'm going through gets again over I can make it down to there again. Next trip I plan on getting with some people to go out on Toho or Butler.

Okay, so I am going to be selling a large amount of tackle but want input on pricing. Is it fair to ask lower then retail but above 1/2 mark for new never used. And is best to inventory everything and post a list for a buy all out break it up into groups. Thanks

So bass is not my only fish I love to fish. Recently I got into musky and there are some great baits. I was talking to a bait maker and he is talking about a creature swim bait. For musky these baits are amazing and work, and should follow and should transfer over to bass.. Those who fish swim what are your thoughts on a new swim creature baits and if I could get my hands on a couple proto types would anyone be interested in buying them and trying them out?

Need a little help. I'm looking at upgrading my 14' boat. I'm looking for those who fish a deep V (like a Lund) and looking for your input. What made you choose this style over a traditional bass boat (ranger, skeeter.. So on) I'm not looking for best brand opinions, just pros and cons. Using this mostly for bass, and musky. I do have a family, but no one else fishes.

So as I was going threw my baits trying to get my tackle separated into more specific species (moving northern/musky baits into their own bag now) I looked at my shell cracker and couldn't remember the weight. I went to the web looking for the website and can't find it. Did black dog get bought out or go out if business and if so when?

Pike are fun. I suggest going with a bigger line. Min 30lb braid. And pike here in Minnesota is going to happen. You never know if the pocket your going into has pike or bass. It's the nature of the beast literally. I have hit pockets with bass and three feet away snag a northern.

@UKCATSBASSER. Wish I could afford another one. These musky purchases are putting me in the broken.. d**n lures are $20+ a pop.

I have gone overboard on musky gear so far this year. My believers came in and look great! I picked up a squirrley tail jake, and found a local guy who makes inlines. But by far the best (imo) and the one im looking forward to is a baby beaver. @ 3.5oz this bait looks amazing. The best way for me to find deals is on facebook groups. There are a couple great ones that have a couple thousands members with good deals daily.

4 orders down and I have opened 0 boxes.. I have been placing med sized orders through tw and been just setting them to the side as they come in. Feels funny, but I want little kid opening Christmas experience when I go to town! But orders include new spro 30 & 40's, pop max, new boxes, and tons of lip less..
