Reel For Duckett Ghost

Featured Replies

what is a good budget reel for a duckett ghost i am getting a 6'10 medium action. i am using the rod for everything largemouth.

It has a whole bunch of action and would work great for cranks.  I think texas riggin plastics could be difficult.

I have the new white carbonlite on the 6'8"mh version Ghost.  The Lews LFS I think I may go with next with a Ghost.  Been hearing nothing but good things and they can be found for close to $80.

Curado d

Check out the Daiwa AIRD. Tackle Tour just about blew a load over this reel.

A used curado b, bsf, d and, if you are lucky, you can nab a mint curado g in new or slightly used condition. In all seriousness if I were spending 80 I would aim to find a good quality used reel in decent shape then replace any parts or service it as needed. Just an opinion though.

I paired up my Ghost 7' mh with a Curado I and it feels awesome, very well balanced.
