The bite is moving north!

 

Central/North Maryland here and I had my first productive day of the year. Total of 5 fish in 2.5 hours fishing from the bank. Nothing huge but I wanted share some good news for those watching the bite move northward.

 

All my fish were caught on a Zoom Fat Albert rigged on a Charlie Brewer Slider. This was the biggest just under 20" and likely just around 4 lbs.

 

 

 

 

That is good news.  The ice is out here too and I am starting to get reports of bass being caught up here.  Hoping this weekend is my 1st weekend out up here.

Good news.  The boat is ready & so am I.

Some people are already catching up here.... of coarse I'm not  ... It's still slow going. Gona go back to Jigs, and let them marinade.

I don't consider myself by any means a good fishermen so...if I am beginning to catch them....

good news for our northern brothers!  and real nice fish by the way.  here's hoping for a massive warming trend.
