Adding A Bait Keeper

So I have some older spinnerbaits and jigs that I "repainted" using nail polish.  They look pretty good to me but there are no bait keepers on them for trailers.  Any ideas on a simple way to add a bait keeper?

    Can you expand on that?  How would you fasten the paper clip to the jig?

    Wrap it around the hook at the top hen make a small curve. You would probably need to cut it in half. I can be pics tomorrow
